IKEA LINNMON / ADILS table, white, 100×60 cm: interactive 3D assembly guide
Every step of IKEA's LINNMON / ADILS 100×60 manual, built in 3D. Press play to watch a step, drag to look around, or switch to Drawing to see it in the manual's black-line style.
What is in the box
The LINNMON tabletop and four ADILS legs; with each leg come a mounting plate (104217) and 5 screws (108443): 4 plates and 20 screws in all. You need a cross-head screwdriver.
- Work on a rug or the flattened carton, as the manual shows, so the tabletop does not get scratched.
All 3 steps
- 1Screw a mounting plate under each corner common mistake
Lay the tabletop upside down on a rug. Put a mounting plate (104217) on the five holes under a corner and fix it with 5 screws (108443) and a cross-head screwdriver. Do the same at the other three corners: 20 screws in all. Common mistake: The tabletop is light, with a honeycomb inside: the screws hold in a strip of particleboard round its edge. A screw driven on with a drill or an impact driver after it is tight tears the wood round its thread, and then it just spins. Turn the screws in with a hand screwdriver and stop when the plate is held firm.
- 2Screw in the legs
Screw each leg’s threaded stud into the middle of a mounting plate, turning the leg clockwise until it is tight.
- 3Turn it over and level the feet
Turn the table over and stand it on its legs. If it rocks, turn the foot at the bottom of a leg to raise or lower it until all four stand on the floor. Tighten the screws again about two weeks later, and check them a couple of times a year.

Questions
What tools do I need for the LINNMON / ADILS table?
A cross-head screwdriver for the 20 screws. The legs turn into their plates by hand.
Can I use a drill?
Turn the screws in with a hand screwdriver. A drill or impact driver can turn them on after they are tight, which strips the holes in the tabletop.
The table rocks. What do I do?
Turn the foot at the bottom of the short leg to lower it until all four legs stand on the floor.
How much weight does the tabletop hold?
IKEA gives a maximum load of 50 kg spread evenly over it, and no more than 15 kg in one spot.
Should I tighten the screws again?
Yes: the manual says to re-tighten them about two weeks after assembly, and to check them a couple of times a year.
Safety
From the manual: for more stability, tighten the screws again about two weeks after assembly, and check them a couple of times a year. IKEA says the table is made for home use and is not suited to a screen stand.
About this guide
The steps, the part numbers, the counts and the order come from IKEA's assembly manual AA-844478-7 (2026-02-05). The outer size, 100 × 60 × 74 cm, is IKEA's published size. The tabletop’s size and thickness and the legs’ height and width are IKEA’s, the screws’ size a spare-parts seller’s; the plates’ size and where they sit are read off the manual’s drawings, so they are close, not measured. The 3D runs faster than real hands do.
