Terms of Use, safety and legal disclaimer

Last updated:

By using iFlatpack.com you agree to these terms. Please read the safety warning before you start any assembly.

Safety warning

You assemble furniture, use hand and power tools, anchor heavy furniture to walls and carry out any mechanical or automotive task entirely at your own risk. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety warnings that came with your product: if they differ from a guide here, the manufacturer's instructions are the ones to follow. Use the fixings that suit your wall, wear protective equipment where it is needed, work with a second person for large or heavy pieces, and ask a qualified professional if you are unsure. Furniture that tips over can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries: fix it to the wall as the manufacturer says.

What iFlatpack is

iFlatpack publishes interactive 3D illustrations of how flat-pack furniture and similar products go together, made from the manufacturers' published manuals. They are an educational aid that sits beside the official instructions, not a replacement for them. Sizes and positions we had to estimate are marked as such on each guide.

No warranty

The guides are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make them accurate, but we do not promise that they are complete, error-free or right for the product version in your box, and manufacturers change their products and parts without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, iFlatpack is not liable for any injury, damage to property, loss of data or other loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its guides, including from assembling, moving or fixing furniture. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Trademark and fair use notice

All brand names (for example IKEA), product model names (for example BILLY, KALLAX and LACK) and six-digit hardware part numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used on iFlatpack strictly for descriptive identification and compatibility, under nominative fair use: to say which product a guide is for and which part is which. Their use does not mean any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from their owners. iFlatpack is not affiliated with Inter IKEA Systems B.V.

All 3D models, procedural line drawings, animations and texts on iFlatpack.com are original creations of iFlatpack. We do not host manufacturers' manuals: each guide links to the official one.

Using our content

You may use the guides for your own, non-commercial assembly and learning, and link to any page. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or republish the 3D models, drawings, animations or texts, or use them to train other systems, without our written permission. Do not try to disrupt the site or access it in ways that put an unreasonable load on it.

Links, ads and affiliate links

The site links to manufacturers, shops and other websites we do not control, and may show ads and affiliate links (see the affiliate disclosure). Purchases you make through them are between you and the seller.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
