A knob is held by a bolt or a screw from inside the drawer front. Put the bolt through the front from inside, hold the knob against the outside and turn the bolt until the knob sits snug. Overtightened, it can crack the front or the knob.

Taking it out

Open the drawer, hold the knob outside and turn its bolt out from inside, anticlockwise.
