Fixing a unit to the wall stops it tipping over when a drawer is pulled out or a child climbs it. The wall screws and plugs are not always in the box, because walls differ: choose fixings that suit your wall, and ask at a hardware store if you are unsure. Fit the bracket or strap on the unit first, mark the wall through its hole, drill and plug, then screw it on.

Taking it out

Unscrew the fixing from the wall before you move the unit, and never pull a unit that is fixed away from the wall.
