BRIMNES bed frame step 6 of 11: Fit the slatted base pins and lay the slatted bases
Secure the centre beam ends with 4 screws (100365), press 8 plastic slatted base pins (110525) into the support holes, and lay the two 70×200 cm slatted bed bases onto the pins.

- Make sure the end slats drop over the 110525 pins so the slatted bases cannot slide lengthwise.

- 1 Prepare the headboard and footboard ends
- 2 Stand the ends and centre partition
- 3 Fit the front and back bed side rails
- 4 Lock the bed frame corners with cam locks
- 5 Install and extend the telescoping SKORVA centre beam
- 6 Fit the slatted base pins and lay the slatted bases
- 7 Prepare the 4 storage drawer fronts
- 8 Stand and lock the 8 drawer sides
- 9 Slide in the 4 drawer bottoms and secure the backs
- 10 Fit the 8 drawer runners with flush countersunk screws common mistake
- 11 Slide all 4 storage drawers under the bed

Questions
How does the SKORVA telescoping centre beam fit into the BRIMNES bed frame?
Drop the outer U-channel sleeve over the headboard mounting bracket first, then slide the inner channel out until its end slots hook over the footboard bracket and lock it with the 100365 screws.
How do the slatted bed bases stay in place on BRIMNES?
Eight 110525 plastic slatted base pins press into the top support holes, and the end slats of each 70×200 cm slatted base drop directly over those pins.
Why are my BRIMNES under-bed drawers crooked or catching?
Verify that the left and right 118790 drawer runners are placed with the nylon wheel at the back of the drawer and the front tab against the drawer front, and that every 100365 countersunk screw is driven completely flush.
What are the inside dimensions of the 4 BRIMNES bed drawers?
Each of the four under-bed storage drawers measures 94 cm wide by 54 cm deep inside, holding duvets, pillows, and seasonal bedding on both sides of the bed.
Safety
Never stand inside the bed frame without the slatted bases installed, and never stand on an open storage drawer. Periodically check that the SKORVA centre beam and corner cam locks remain tight.
