What is in the box
A headboard end panel, a footboard end panel, a centre drawer partition, two bed side rails with steel slat ledges, a two-piece telescoping galvanized steel SKORVA centre beam, two 70×200 cm slatted bed bases, and four complete under-bed storage drawers. The hardware bags hold 24 cam bolts (118331), 20 wooden dowels (101350), 24 cam locks (119081), 20 countersunk screws (100365), 8 slatted base pins (110525), 16 plastic wedge dowels (110519), and 8 drawer runners (118790).
- Separate the 4 left-hand and 4 right-hand drawer runners (118790) before assembling the drawers.
- Build the bed frame in the room where it will stand—assembled size is 206 × 146 cm.

Prepare the headboard and footboard ends
Screw 8 cam bolts (118331) and push 4 wooden dowels (101350) into the upper corners of the headboard end panel and footboard end panel.

Stand the ends and centre partition
Stand the headboard end panel on the left, the footboard end panel on the right, and the centre drawer partition across the middle.

Fit the front and back bed side rails
Lower the back bed side rail and front bed side rail onto the cam bolts and dowels at the top of the headboard and footboard ends.

Lock the bed frame corners with cam locks
Insert 8 cam locks (119081) into the inner faces of the front and back bed sides and turn each clockwise with a flat screwdriver.

Install and extend the telescoping SKORVA centre beam
Drop the outer sleeve of the galvanized steel SKORVA centre beam onto the headboard bracket, seat the inner slide inside it, and telescope the inner slide out until it hooks over the footboard bracket.

Fit the slatted base pins and lay the slatted bases
Secure the centre beam ends with 4 screws (100365), press 8 plastic slatted base pins (110525) into the support holes, and lay the two 70×200 cm slatted bed bases onto the pins.

Prepare the 4 storage drawer fronts
Lay the 4 drawer fronts face down and fit 16 cam bolts (118331) and 16 wooden dowels (101350) into the pre-drilled holes.

Stand and lock the 8 drawer sides
Stand the left and right sides on each of the 4 drawer fronts, insert 16 cam locks (119081), and turn them clockwise to lock.

Slide in the 4 drawer bottoms and secure the backs
Slide each 94×54 cm drawer bottom into the side grooves, fit each drawer back between the sides, and tap in 16 plastic wedge dowels (110519) with a hammer.

Fit the 8 drawer runners with flush countersunk screws common mistake
Turn the 4 drawers upside down, set the left and right drawer runners (118790) along the underside edges with the nylon wheels at the back, and drive 16 countersunk screws (100365) completely flush. Common mistake: Swapping the left and right 118790 drawer runners or leaving a 100365 screw head proud makes the drawers jam against the bed frame channel.

Slide all 4 storage drawers under the bed
Engage the rear wheels of the two front drawers and two rear drawers into the lower runner channels and roll all 4 drawers flush into the bed frame.
Questions
How does the SKORVA telescoping centre beam fit into the BRIMNES bed frame?
Drop the outer U-channel sleeve over the headboard mounting bracket first, then slide the inner channel out until its end slots hook over the footboard bracket and lock it with the 100365 screws.
How do the slatted bed bases stay in place on BRIMNES?
Eight 110525 plastic slatted base pins press into the top support holes, and the end slats of each 70×200 cm slatted base drop directly over those pins.
Why are my BRIMNES under-bed drawers crooked or catching?
Verify that the left and right 118790 drawer runners are placed with the nylon wheel at the back of the drawer and the front tab against the drawer front, and that every 100365 countersunk screw is driven completely flush.
What are the inside dimensions of the 4 BRIMNES bed drawers?
Each of the four under-bed storage drawers measures 94 cm wide by 54 cm deep inside, holding duvets, pillows, and seasonal bedding on both sides of the bed.
Safety
Never stand inside the bed frame without the slatted bases installed, and never stand on an open storage drawer. Periodically check that the SKORVA centre beam and corner cam locks remain tight.
